[OOC] In Nomine: the Mile Higher Club

Dear friend and fellow LARPer has helped me set up a chat room to use as a backup--it's on Darkmyst "#mhc" and can be accessed through mibbit.com (if you don't want to fuss with IRC software). At this point it's just a backup--unlike Sylver's room I don't believe it holds buffers after logoff...but we'll see.

Please let me know if you have any software/connection issues there.

Added site map to the Angelfire page, mostly to help myself organize and tidy up. Still, one place to see where everything is. Linked off the front page. Also added a couple of songs from deezer for flavor--click on the little player to hear some of the things I listen to when I'm writing settings/backstories.

Currently handling a couple of side scenes, but I don't want to lose the momentum we've had.

Incidentally I start a new job on the 16th. :)

1) Should I move the side scenes to the forum, or do you prefer having your own information to yourself? In some cases, characters are hiding things from each other :0

2) If not...where/when to pick up? Got y'all on a flight to San Francisco and most of you got off in L.A., so the mixed signals are rather confusing. Easiest thing for me would be to introduce a side plot, but it seems to me there's so much going on already...

3) Fear not adventure players--I know the drama level has been high. Your villain is on the move and while he won't be an easy target he will nearly be a clean one...nearly as my sick mind can do anyway.

I'm good with any of the above, I can tell you that my character felt things disintegrating at the meeting and left in LA to get someone that she thought could help with the intent of rejoining the meeting via the teather- either via a teather to san-francisco and getting on the plane physicaly or just taking the teather down onto the plane

Do you mean Hina, or did you have someone else in mind? If I may ask...

As for rejoining...if you jump in the Janus tether on board the plane, you'll meet Velga (which I can run, on the forum or in PM) and possibly Da'at (whose player I haven't really gotten hold of).
If you take a tether to San Francisco and enter the airport from the ground, there are two NPC's and one PC you could run into.

She had gone to get Ash, she was going to stop and talk to Hina on her way through Heaven if she was available. We did it the other way after you said that you were going to fast forward. The way she sees it Ash is their voice of reason.

I think I can safely say that continuity is fubar, at the moment. :(

I'll think of some way to get it back on track in the next couple of weeks--meanwhile we've got some side scenes and PM's to deal with. Which eventually I'll compile and post, but not today.

I've had to place some NPC's in the timeline, which means I have to figure out what went on when. Here's what I have, where I'm confused, etc. We have a couple of characters going to SFO, and I'm trying to figure out who will get there when. Despite the fast forward, we may have the party more or less back together again soon.

Timeline, omitting PM scenes for the moment. Much of this is from here , which needs updated.


Nov 2--All Soul's Night. MHC is in LA FRIDAY NIGHT
Nov 3rd--MHC in and around LA working things out

Corat's apartment, Ontario California (an hour east of Los Angeles), November 6th TUESDAY
Corat drops his apartment keys off to Rina-el and possibly Shen the next day. WEDNESDAY. Out of town for the rest of the week, on orders to stay away.

Shen driving with his boss to the airport--AFTER Zahi's conversation the 10th but in time to meet with anyone else going there? ARRIVES ON A MONDAY MORNING, BUT WHICH ONE?

Mitch on phone with Shen, Shen says he's with his superior officer atm. Mitch "back at his shop"

So...who agrees to be where/when? Thanksgiving fell on the 22nd that year, but that shouldn't have much impact except to make flights more crowded that particular weekend.

Well Zahi's conversation with Shen was actualy on the previous Monday I believe- anyway it was early in the week we just hadn't finished it out of play by the chat session because real life reared it's ugly head.

Over at a friend's parents' house not long ago and I was gushing on her angel collection, particularly the one where the angel appears to be kissing a bird. So said friend comes by last night with these treasures. Sorry the photo is underexposed...

As far as game goes, I'm waiting on a PM to see whether by near-coincidence we have a group of you folks in the same place/time and I simply didn't realize it.
