I guess we'll chill, as we're semi-stuck with Mitch and Zahi (and Da'at, I think) on the plane, and Corat trying to make an exit (giving M & D a chance to interrupt him)

Don't wait for San Fran--that could be awhile. Possibly.

Waiting for reaction from M & D, like I said, at which point the plane door is going to be closed. So unless you want pinpoint timing, I suggest the tether. (Wish I could remember how much Disturbance such an entrance makes--if any of you know offhand? Otherwise I'll look it up.)

Only known tether in Los Angeles is the soul food restaurant in the heart of Watts, a Creation tether whose Seneschal is named Elias (or at least in his Role) . As seen in "Dogs of War" chat All other known tethers were destroyed during or before the purge of the year 2000, on or about New Year's Day i.e. the turn of the millenium. There's Michael's in the Mojave desert, but that's a long way away. There's also a rumored 'secret' tether of Marc in a roving ice-cream truck, but it would take nearly a Divine Intervention to find it, or at least a well-connected and very determined Tradesman.

San Francisco, being an angel town, is practically littered with tethers.

We will use the Creation one then, shouldn't be to much a problem, right? I guess technically we could just asssend to our hearts and met up at the locus for the tether for the plane, if using Eli's is a problem.

Eli is a laid back type, and so goes his tether. (Though I'd forgotten what I put on my own page no less, that there's a Trade tether in nearby Pasadena.)

Not clear how the ascend thing works, but intuition tells me that would make vessels a little tricky.

Ah, and Barbara: To ascend in a Tether, you have to first take your celestial form and then ascend (via a Will roll it is, I think).

Convention this holiday weekend, so I'll be mostly afk for about three days. I'll check in briefly, can't help myself, but don't expect anything profound.

Added an intro to IN to the main MHC page--you might want to read it to see the particulars of canon that I'm working from. As you might imagine it has a somewhat ethereal slant to it.

Gamewise it looks like the characters are all over the place. Should we fast forward again?

Finally, really weird weather here in California, makes me wish we were in 'real time' so I could do something celestial with that...

Continuity in MHC...I figure it's a good time to take it easy and compare notes for a bit. You've got a lot of information in a lot of disparate hands, at least one pair of which is dealing with a lot of IRL right now. I plan to open the Sylver chat room anytime I'm online, in case anyone wants to ask for info from me or my characters. Of course, you're welcome to use it to talk to each other! Right now in game we're in mid-November of 2007--unless anyone objects we'll pick up with our characters mid-December, on or about the 14th. Meanwhile, get things done in the IC interim. My RL could get crazy or boring in the next couple of weeks, or not, so figure depending on forum traffic we'll pick up December of '07 in-game in the second week of June.

Just a heads up I'll be gone from June 16th until July 2nd with little if any internet access. I'll probably not be able to post during those 2 weeks. Other than that if I know in advance I can be around most any day time right now- nights are a bit trickery since I want to spend time with people IRL. I work tomorrow 5pm-9:30pm and can be mostly there for a good portion of that time. Thursday I work 10am-9:30pm- same deal. Friday 10am-5pm same deal. Sundays I always close 3pm-9:30 so if we want to get together for any kind of chat that would be a great time for me. Maybe I should have just PM our nice gm this, but thought I would put it here in case anyone else wanted to chat with Zahira during the down time.
