I already love it. All I have to do is say "The Good, The Bad, and the Munchkin" and my fiance gets silly happy. Not only will it be great fun but it is already making my life easier. Thank you Steve Jackson, you have changed my life. (all in tone like a cheesy medication commericial)

Well, it looks like Pirates might get their own deck. And there's hope for an adventure style munchkin in the future.

I'm actually fairly suprised that a western muchkin before pirate muchkin. There are about the same number of Age of Sail RPGs as there are Western RPGs, AFAICT.

Western: Boothill and Deadlands (maybe Castle Falkenstein), GURPS Old West (of course)

Age of Sail/Pirates: 7th Sea, Freeport, GURPS Swashbucklers, GURPS Age of Napoleon.

In the years I've been involved with Munchkin, I, at least, have heard more calls and ideas for an old West style Munchkin. I'm not the least bit surprised. . .

there was also a version of Werewolf: The Apocalypse set in the old west.

but mainly i should think it comes down to the fact that there are so many more cowboy/western movies from which to make puns.
