Hi,
I've a question about leveling up, inspired by the Finish a Crusade for Warhammer 40,000 but which is not limited to it. We know that (ulsess differently stated by the card) a player can only gain the winning level by killing/defeating a monster. We also know (repeatedly stated here ) that a player can't partially use a GUAL card (for example, if a card gives you a bonus and makes you gain a level, but you are L9, you can't use the card at all: no level and no bonus). But what happens when a card, such as the one in the title, says something as "everybody goes up a level" and one or more players are L9? - Everybody who isv not L9 goes up and L9 players stay there, or - the card has other effects (this for example is a Portal) but nobody goes up, or - the card has not effect at all? Thanks for your replies :) |

Everyone who isn't Level 9 goes up a level and then you discard a dungeon.
Because some players are still able to go up a level, the card is still able to take effect.
