Default Re: Did Infinity start the nuclear war on Reich-4?

It could be that Reich-5 was actually the first "Reich" world found, but has been kept secret that whole time. So, when any other "Reich" world is found, Reich-5 has to be renamed to one after (so there aren't members of the public wondering, "Why do the Reich worlds start with Reich-2? What is Infinity hiding?...").

That could resolve everything from the 'first found' Reich-1 being so close to its divergence point to Infinity potentially having been on Reich-4 before its nuclear war.

Other than Reich-5 (found 16 years ago), it's only been in the last decade that Infinity has found any Reich worlds. And, as far as the public knows, it's only in the last decade any Reich worlds have been found.

And thus, Reich-4 is the most recent "Reich" world found, and thus very probably only found after the nuclear war nine years ago. So, no Infinite involvement in its nuclear war.

I bet Interworld, which only recently adopted the Secundan habit of giving worlds nicknames, still doesn't give multiple worlds the same designation, plus number. Centrum rationalism...

I'm left wondering why Infinity has the same numbering scheme for both the public and secret lists. Surely it would be less confusing to have a secret list of worlds that uses different designations, instead of having old documents that have the wrong designation.
