It seems to me that anything made of textile could benefit from this treatment while it remains static or doesn't move quickly: blankets, covered wagons, rope (excellent for hard-to-see traps), sacks (great for hiding treasure in the forest), tents, etc. Flags or sails of elvenkind, flapping and snapping in the wind? Not so much.

I think the flags are iffy not so much because they flap around but because the entire [point] of a flag is for it to serve as a visible marker of something, but there are camouflage uniforms with low visibility flag patches on them (for patriotic reasons), so it might be possible, just sort of pointless.
