The computer says he is a 248 point character:
158 points of attributes
75 points of advantages
-40 points of disadvantages
55 points of skills

The character sheet states that he is a 245 point character.

I don’t have access to the book at the moment, but I believe he traded points for starting cash.

That's 245 points, not 248 points. Your computer messed up in some way if it got 158 points for attributes: ST 16 [60] + DX 14 [80] + IQ 10 [0] + HT 13 [30] + HP 16 [0] + Will 10 [0] + Per 10 [0] + FP 13 [0] + Basic Speed 6.00 [‑15] + Basic Move 6 [0] = 155.

And as the notes say, "Yvor has sacrificed five quirk points for $2,500." Those points don't get added to the total.

Right off the bat, I see 155 points for attributes, not 158. (Even just eyeballing it, all of his attribute costs are multiples of 5, so 158 isn't possible . . . Maybe you're reading MV 3 as a cost of 3?)

The book show 155 cp in stats, you have 158 ?
60+80+30-15
Maybe you added an extra fatigue point or something ?
