Default What the fnord is a Molly?

I finally wrote up the ultimate guide to Mollyism so that Naturalists can spot and deal with this dangerous beast before she grows up and becomes a Cidri threatening challenge.

Grow up is used in the figurative sense here, as she will never ever increase her ST above the sub-human level of Goblin-minimum of course. (Worst case of Peter-Pan-ism in all of Cidri.)

Is this the part where the pretty blond girl says, "Stop trying to make fetch happen."

Given the Molly is a highly annoying exploit, I wouldn't expect the PCs to allow her to live more than an hour or so of her first session - the GM wouldn't have to lift a finger, imo. ;)

I'm not just willing to try it, this is a playtested character.

How many different players were in the playtest group?

Come join the Discord and see Molly in action in different campaigns.

Hi Henry,
I read your Molly page. Good work exposing this exploit.

To me, it raises some questions:

- What do you think needs to be changed in TFT to properly eliminate this exploit?

- Daggers have lots of upside and the new staff rules seem too powerful (at least from Staff3+). So, it would appear the confluence of the two is a big part of creating this exploit. That is, will eliminating the "dagger staff" fix this. Say only allowing staves to be wood sticks (staff, club, quarterstaff and wand).

- Even with eliminating the "dagger staff", do you see the new Staff rules as being to powerful?

- Even with eliminating the "dagger staff", do you see the dagger (targetted throws) as being to powerful?
