We're exploring extra character pads as a stretch goal for the Decks of Destiny campaign. (Those little pads are proving to be more popular than we expected.)

Send more pads...running out quickly...
Actually, while the realities of work flow and economics surely mean the best we'll see is a reprint of the ~3x5 pad (which is the scale I use most) as is, it would be more useful with some use of the back side, and on a firmer paper that will hold up more to handling. I am using these as my main way of creating a library of NPCs (or quick-draw PC's). The current format actually has less room for information on one side than you would get from an old 3x5 recipe card (because of the nice looking graphic design), so I find myself having to use the backs. And, the paper weight is sort of like a throw-away post-it rather than something you'd archive and reuse for years. Of course, you are about to sell us a delicious giant blob of pre-fab cards, which is wonderful, but materials intended for permanently recording your own characters is presently a little bit of a 'soft' spot |

There _might_ be some left. :)
I had a chat with the factory about making a pad of cards; cards without a dry erase finish the same weight as the existing cards but secured to a pad. I don't think they appreciated my request. Oh. And we have something completely new for Decks of Destiny when it comes to recording the stats and info for campaigns . . .

I wondered how I'd like the new size counters and maps, and have to say my boys and I enjoy the large counters especially while using the Dyson Logos mats and mega hex tiles.
When the pocket box edition was added to the kickstarter I thought it might be redundant, but also wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Then the actual shipment arrived and came shortly before a trip we had planned. The old school size of the components and the pocket box lent themselves perfectly to playing on the hotel table and even in the car as we tooled down the turnpike. So, I love both sizes now! Lastly, I do hope to buy more of the character pads. We've used a lot of them, and I'm glad I ordered extra in backerkit, but anticipate purchasing more. |

We all need more character pads.
Especially the Wizard character pads.

If you have the character pad PDFs from the Kickstarter print more copies from them. I can easily print 4 copies per page of the wizard cards at home anytime I need more. For the fighter cards I can print 6 per page.

I would certainly *like* more, but if worse comes to worst, I have the PDF and can print more of my own.
One thing I would like, if SJG is going to make more available, is for consideration being given to a heavier paper weight... |
