These old arthritic fingers certainly appreciate the thicker counters too. I solved the pocket box problem by giving it to my son. (I've got another one coming though).

My add-ons just rolled in, well packed and well before I expected to see them. Those extra MH tiles will be a welcome addition to my next game later this week! I thought the Companion might come in the same box, but perhaps they thought a loose hard cover book would bounce around and damage itself or other things.

I think they might have just decided to send them separately after a few tries; at least that sounds like what Daryll might have meant in something he said a while back on the subject. So, if so, yet a third package to come! ;-)

I too. The first round of IWIA shipping didn't have these manually inserted. Quite a big box for a single book, but it did arrive pristine, so there's that. ^_^

I understood that the separate supply chain for the IWIA box and the companion made it hard for them to pack those together; I was just surprised they didn't pop it into the box containing my add-ons, which was plenty big enough. Could have been for any number of reasons, but one factor I imagine them considering is that when you pack a book loose with other objects they damage each other, and now you are paying for replacements and multiple shipping costs. In any event, I'm not stressed about it.

I think that WAS the original intent, but if I had to guess (and it's only a guess, but based on having worked on similar shipping issues in the past), it became too hard to track that way and they just decided it was easier in the end to send them separately.

Ignore me - my Companion just showed up in another container. Whatever thought process motivates what they're doing, you have to say it's working!
