Call for Playtesters: GURPS Monster Hunters: Power-Ups 1
We are seeking playtesters for GURPS Monster Hunters: Power-Ups 1, by Christopher R. Rice. This is a supplement of "mundane" (non-supernatural but still awesome) power-ups for the GURPS Monster Hunters line that's similar in scope and mandate to GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 11: Power-Ups. ("Supernatural" power-ups are outside the scope of this supplement, but might be the topic of a follow-up volume.)
We are primarily seeking applicants familiar with the Monster Hunters series and/or GURPS Powers. Knowledge of various monster-hunting media is also an asset. Knowledge of other GURPS quick-start series (such as GURPS Dungeon Fantasy) might be useful. This playtest is currently scheduled to run for three weeks, from March 8 through March 29. We would ideally have all applications by March 6. Preferential playtest slots will be given to those who have spent at least $50 on PDFs from Warehouse 23 in the past calendar year, though this is not a requirement. For more, see the general playtest information page. Prospective playtesters should email Roger Burton West at pt-mhpowerups@firedrake.org with [playtest] in the subject. Include your preferred email address for the closed playtest mailing list, your name as you wish it to appear in the published supplement, your SJ Games Forum handle (if you're a member), your Warehouse 23 login name, and a few words on why we should pick you: qualifications, experience, current gaming group(s), etc. Please submit in this format: Code:

Re: Call for Playtesters: GURPS Monster Hunters: Power-Ups 1
I wanted to point out that while this book is definitely about power-ups for the non-supernatural templates (Commando, Sage, Sleuth, Techie, and Warrior) there is also an inventing system for techies and if that's your cup of tea you may wish to apply as well. Said system theoretically would work for other games than Monster Hunters.
I look forward to hearing from you!
