2 Questions regarding cheat, charm and take me!

Had quite a few heated debates tonight during a game, and wanted to clear up some technicalities:

1. Can you use the “Cheat” card to equip a one-handed item (or armor, etc.) to a monster? Context is I won the game and other players attempted to use “Cheat” to argue that they could equip armor / swords to a monster.

2. We had a very specific situation with Take me! Take me! and charm.
- player A cannot defeat a fight with 2 monsters.
- player B agrees to help, and uses Charm on a monster
- player C used Take me! Take me! to force player A to kick out player B
- we decided that player Bs charm spell was cancelled, as he was kicked out of combat and would not be present at the end of combat to receive treasure

Was this the correct play?
