Combat Scenario Variations for the Melee Arena

I sort of like this one I tried recently

Three heroes tumble down a slide and are pitched, prone, into a MegaHex just next to the stating hexes at one end of a Melee Map. The room has seven Bullywugs around the room no closer than 8 hexes to any hero. The Bullywugs are armed with primitive weapons (d6-2), and wear "piece-kit" armor, stops 1 hit.

Bullywug, St 8, Dex 10 (adjDex 8), IQ 7, MA 8

The heroes have 33 points to build their characters, and 100 starting gold.

As in ITL prices, listed in silver, where gold is worth 10x silver? So, $1000 in ITL gear? Each, or for all three?

I did it with $1,000 for the group, and ran out, because I was buying for an adventuring party and not a single scenario, so $1,000 might be high for a single scenario

I presume it was a simple typo and he meant $100. However, Jim seems to be out right now, so we'll have to wait a bit for clarification.

As I said above. I used $1,000 but was buying adventure gear and not just single scenario gear. $500 might be better for three Heroes buying only armor and weapons.
