What two things do wrestling and going berserk have in common in TFT?
1) One often leads to the other 2) Both are special abilities, stated as being available to only a few people, having significant, rules-specified effects in combat, yet it isn't clear how a character gets access to them. That is, they are talent-like in their effects and (apparently) intended frequency, yet they don't appear as talents. My position (and house rules) is that these are talents. That seems obviously the right approach to wrestling, as it is just a skill like unarmed combat or something. Berserking could be treated several different ways, but I feel like the best way to fit it within the rules is to also just say it is a talent you can buy. |
