Default TFT Q&A With Steve on #SJGamesLive!

This Thursday on Facebook we'll be holding a Q&A with Steve, taking the best questions selected from submissions for Steve to answer.

If you'd like to ask him a question, feel free to post it below. We'll pick the best questions, and Thursday afternoon SJ will answer them live!

So far, it looks like the Kickstarter is an unqualified success. Given that, what are your thoughts on where The Fantasy Trip goes from here? Do you and Guy have any plans yet, or are you still considering your options? And if you're still considering your options, what are the ones you're most interested in at this point?

If The Fantasy Trip had remained in your hands back in the 1980s, would GURPS and the Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game no longer exist, or would TFT have evolved over time to become the GURPS or DFRPG we know and love today?

In other words, is GURPS or DFRPG essentially Second Edition TFT, or did you always intend to develop a more complex, simulation-focused game to co-exist along side of the more cinematic TFT?

Also, I seem to recall a TFT-based Microgame in the 1980s for playing out science fiction battles boarding a spaceship. I believe that TFT could theoretically expand to cover any time period or technology level, even if it is not feasible to do so in the near future.

Do you have any plans to expand TFT as you’ve done with GURPS to cover other time periods or genres? If so, can you give us a hint at what the future may hold, or at least what you see as potential developments for TFT?

My Question

Steve, the flat counters, and unique artwork, of the original Melee and Wizard created, in my opinion, a special sort of feel the game had which was not the same as other games of the time. Do you think that playing the game with figures, such as miniatures, or toys, changes the dynamic of what Melee and Wizard are supposed to feel like?

Will TFT Legacy Edition be a cleaned up version of the original or is it going to contain new rules for experience, new spells, etc., like we've been discussing on the forums?

If you could rescue one other designer's TFT products from Howard Thompson, who would that be?
