I see stretch goals are going to include going after older material for the rights to update
Is there any chance of bringing back Orb Quest by Paul Wagner? |

There is no chance, unless Paul Wagner goes thru the legal hoops to regain his copyright and then talks to SJ Games. Warm regards, Rick. |

Surely it depends on who had the copyright. We're assuming it was Metagaming but my copy is not to hand. Out of interest, I checked my copy of Death Test and it is copyright 1978 by Steve Jackson, so he already had the rights to that? Same for my copy of Death Test 2. Steve is also listed as the copyright holder on all three of my Advanced books. So now I'm confused. Is there more to the rights that what is stated on the printed copies? Does the publisher hold the copyright automatically?

This is probably a pretty good time to snatch up old modules on ebay or whatever. They're going to be a lot harder to find in the aftermath of the KS.
I'm predicting a demand spike, is what I'm saying. |

The stretch goal/add-on/future product I would most like to see is a sheet of large monster counters. I repeat my battle cry: 14-hex dragon! :D

That's one I could live without actually. Just adds weight, which increases shipping cost, for no real gain. I'll keep the two books in the bigger box and I'll punch the counters and put them into labeled Ziploc like all the other counters. It may not ultimately add much cost to US backers but stuff like this really going hurt international backers.

1) The "I want it all" level got pretty attractive over time. Folks, like me, that pledged at a lower level may well up their pledge to upgrade. The DI today highlighting the I want it all level using a spiffy graphic is an exercise in asking folks who have already proven they're willing to give you money for more money: it's very sound marketing strategy. 2) Folks that pledged a buck or a really low level deciding to commit. "I'll watch this and see how it does; oh, it's funded. Oh, it's REALLY funded. Oh, this has the promise of continued support. OK, I'm in." 3) Finally, one of the reasons I'm pondering the upgrade I mentioned in 1 is the opening of the line to third-party adventures. As seen with Hall of Judgment, I have a vested interest in SJG being as open as possible (or at least as open to ME as possible, but rising tide and boats, etc). So if I am to consider writing/converting my material to TFT as well as DFRPG and 5e/Dragon Heresy . . . well, I better have all the materials. Other writers may feel the same. So we shall see!

Does anyone know how many pages the TFT Companion book will be so far?

No statement I've seen but it could be a lot depending on how many of those out of print articles they get the rights to, how much art they include and what point font they use. The website has quite a lot of content right now and more is slated to get added.
