Promoting #TheFantasyTrip on Social media (TWITTER)

Hi All

I'll try to keep this brief.

We have 11 days before the launch of #TheFantasyTrip Kickstarter - Then the run itself (30 days?)

In that time we all need to do as much as we can to spread the word far and wide - Not just tweaking rules and chatting with like minded people that are already fully aware of it.

Unfortunately I will be out of action for a couple of weeks (back in the game next month)

Here are a couple of quick tips we can all use to help promote.

1 - Always when taking about TFT use agreed hashtags - #TFT #TheFantasyTrip #Melee #Wizard

2 - Try to link in @SJGames and encourage your readers to follow and #RT

3 - Make your TFT posts visually attractive - (relevant pictures that catch the eye and make others want to share your post)

4 - Encourage 'POSITIVE' engagement - to draw potential new player in.

5 - SHARE posts from other TFT fans - especially @SJGAMES @TFTGuy @WGTabletop attached to Steve Jackson.

Things are starting to move quite nicely on Twitter.
Some really great - informative posts from

@SJGames / @WGTabletop - Tutorials - video links

@TFTGuy - links to web + articles

@philipjreed - links and updates.

Look out for the hashtags - especially #TheFantasyTrip - Please LIKE all that are relevant, and RT / share them when you can. **This is really important, as it is what makes certain phrases and links trend - and drives them out to a wider audience.

Have a lovely weekend - Play some #TFT with your old existing sets, and post reports and photos to show everyone how much fun it is. - Then get everybody here to like / share / comment.

I have my old timey copies of Melee and Wizard out of storage. I'll post photos to Twitter.



I scored a coup a few years back when I got the Deluxe T&T kickstarter mentioned on BoingBoing, and the same for the V&V kickstarter. Not sure if I can make lightning strike a third time!

It doesn't matter how many followers you have - If those 300 are totally different from the people that already follow @SJGames, and a few of them follow - You've made a difference.

If you encourage those 300 to share something you post about TFT, and one of them has thousands of followers - suddenly YOU have reached a lot more people.
