Since my friends ask me every time to GM again TFT, actually I have the opposite problem ;-)

Primarily for adolescents and adult gamers, 1) Make a fighter character, 2) Arena combat, 3) DT 1 several times until successful 4) DT II many times 5) other modules, particularly Orb Quest, Grail Quest, and Security Station, then 6) Tollenkar's Lair and 7) personally written programmed adventures, 8) Totally GMed adventures.

This one is quick and easy: our older kids (ages 12 and 10) love playing games with us whenever they can. No convincing will be necessary. I'll break out some hex maps and miniatures and we'll spend a glorious afternoon playing. Probably an arena combat or two and then a simple dungeon adventure.
Then, I'll make sure they call their grandfather, who taught me to play RPGs using Melee back in the 80's, to tell him about it, and he will be the happiest damn old man in the world. -Conrad Deitrick

Easy!
The simplicity and elegance of the system will do most of the work, but I'll also create a few 3- and 4-hex creatures in miniature, and that will seal the deal! |

Already have. I said, "wanna play test my new priest rules?" They did and they already like the system. My friend decided to GM the next session so I can play. So he'll start GMing on his second session ever and he's really not a mechanics guy. I think that says a lot for the system right there.

My regular group is usually an easy sell. I'll sell it to my wife by telling her the system is really easy and supports creative roleplaying in an old-school fashion.
I convinced my kids by telling them it plays very fast. |

I have far too many D&D/Pathfinder/Heroscape minis. I'll probably run a demo game at a game meet or Con with a bundle of Minis as a prize for anyone who can survive the "Dreaded Dungeon of Doom!"

I'm the only GM within 75 miles. The players play what I tell them to or they play nothing!
I just wish there were more players and anothet GM so I could play once in a while.
