Some things convert from DF easily, some not so much.
It's a general GURPS article, not one specific to Dungeon Fantasy. Since it's about brewing potions, not buying them, the only real conversion needed is if you're using my expanded DF alchemy/alchemist rules from Pyramid #3/82: Magical Creations.

I believe the two systems can be reconciled without much effort, though I'm a bit too swamped at the moment to tackle that myself. If anyone else wants to do so, I'd be happy to offer my critique.

The article is, seriously, one of the best pieces I have ever seen in Pyramid. Conceptually strong, intriguing in its approach, systemless (and I usually gravitate toward the crunchy articles). My only regret is that my current low fantasy game would not really have anywhere to fit it in, but I will hang on to it for future use. Great work, JET.

Thank you! Glad it was appreciated :)

Uhm… Is Magical Toughening supposed to protect against spells like Dehydrate? From the description I'd say "yes" ("caused directly by magical spells"), but from the writeup in the table I'd say "no" (it would need Cosmic to protect against maledictions). I'm lost.

It works against spells like that:
. . . helps even against spells that say "Armor doesn’t protect."
Cosmic isn't necessary because this isn't a Malediction. It's a spell that happens to ignore armor, mostly because armor has the hidden limitation "Not vs. direct magical injury."

I was trying to put the Teramantic spells into GCS, and I've noticed an erratum: the Shield spell is repeated twice on the spell list, once at Second Degree, and once at Third.

Also, I see Teragenesis is never given a spell type, though I assume it's Regular.

Dang, I'm not sure how I missed that. Strike it from the Third Degree list.

It is. I'll ask Steven to fix these when he has a chance.

Just a note, the description of the Third Degree is explicit that there are eleven spells in that level, though Shapeshifting is potentially several spells. Fourth Degree likewise requires seven of them, which make me wonder if the second Shield was accidentally slotted in in place of some other spell.
