Perhaps a silly question, but what does "O.G." (After the End 2, p. 17) stand for? Old Gangster?

It’s rap slang for “original gangster”, a rapper who actually started as a gang member instead of joining a gang for street cred after being a successful musician.

Likely "Original Gangsta(s)" like in the movie or rap songs.

It also apparently was used somewhat before that for simply OriGinal, as in a founding original member of an organization. Or so I've been told.

In modern gang parlance, it's basically become its own term -- an "O.G." is someone who's been in the gang long enough to be trusted and relied upon to act as a lieutenant. It's the street equivalent of the Mafia's "made man," basically.
