I stopped by Black Diamond Games, in Concord, CA today, and was pleased to see Dungeon Fantasy on the shelves as a new arrival. They had three copies of the boxed set, and a couple GM Screens and Companions, and some SJ Pyramid dice.
I grabbed a Companion and some extra dice; I'm still eagerly awaiting my boxed set in the mail (but hadn't included a Companion with my KS). |

I don't believe that the game has entered the regular distribution chain yet, but note that there was a Retailer level of Kickstarter backer and some retailers will have gotten their KS copies.

I'm pretty sure they were backers on the Kickstarter. The owner tends to be pretty informed, fortunately.

I was about to type "screen shot or it didn't happen", but people might have taken me seriously. |

Can't get the image to display in the post, but here's my quick photo of it from earlier:

Perhaps they posted the size earlier and I've forgotten, but that box seems to be much smaller than I had expected.

Dunno but it seems plenty spacious to me. I removed all the cardboard spacers, and it easily swallowed the normal contents, GM Screen, Companion, some more d6s, and could take some more stuff.

Yup. That's one of two new releases shelves - "indie" and such. Another two facing opposite are Pathfinder / Starfinder and SW; then another two of maps and D&D stuffs. They also had a few used / marked down GURPS books on their used shelf. I recommend they move the $17 GURPS Fantasy book closer to those DF boxes ... ;)
Oh, as of the other day, they had moved a complete package (box + Screen + Companion)! |
