This strongly implies that one or all these sources of Divine Prayer are lying, since they cannot be all true.

Of course, this is a question of GMing preference, but personally I'd prefer to keep it more mysterious.

They could be mistaken. Or maybe they really are a projection of the saint's inner strength. Who knows?

Or maybe the observer collapses the divine wavefunction? :o)

Or, if you take a more ecumenical approach, they're all receiving inspiration from the same divine source, but are interpreting it differently.
