Both of these monsters have images included that don't appear to illustrate the monster. Am I misinterpreting these images and the monster is there but I am not recognizing it? Is this just because these are bonus content monsters and the image is just there to show the placement of the art in the format (art that illustrates the monster in the book)? Something else?

Getting very close to $200,000 in total now, counting Warehouse 23...
It would be great to see us reach that milestone, just for symbolic value. Only 4 hours to go!

In regards to the eye-in-the-pyramid. Three are included in the box and the I want it all!!! pledge includes another six. for a total of nine eye-in-the-pyramid dice. Is that correct?

Long time lurker.
I finally took the plunge. Not in the deep end, only at 51$ level to get the core box pdf and stretch goals. So I only need to decide what else would be useful to get with the remaining 15 $ ( 51 $ -1$ for no rewards level -35$ for the core box pdf = 15$ remaining pdf stuff to pick). What would you consider useful? Considering the GM screen - But then if I really start playing, it's probably the one item that would be useful to get the physical product at a local store. Pyramid: The Dungeon Fantasy Collection ? No ideas what those articles were about. Some Gurps Dungeon Fantasy. Scanning the list, my attention goes to: GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 16: Wilderness Adventures - Would it make a good complement to extend the adventure outside dungeons for the core box? GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 15: Henchmen - There was quite a few mentions of it within this tread. GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 13: Loadouts - Useful with the core box? GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 3: The Next Level - Again, would it be useful with the core box? GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 12: Ninja - Well... Ninja. Why not. Anything else? I own the Basic Set books, Powers, Martial Arts, Low-Tech. But I don't have Magic. Thanks |

Ninja is... well.. Ninja. 'nuf said about that one. (actually, Ninja is pretty well written, and gives some nice bonuses not just for Ninja abilities but also for Ninja Equipment, and helps in justifying the all black or all white suits that Ninjas tend to wear). Quote:
OTOH, I also kind of recommend Dungeon fantasy 1, 2, and Magic. With those you can start playing Dungeon Fantasy right now. It may seem redundant with the DFRPG, but it's going to be something like 9 months before the DFRPG is out. (while I don't believe you can get GURPS Magic as an add-on through the kickstarter, if you buy it now in Warehouse 23 it'll count towards the stretch goals).

Much as I'd like people to buy this one (because I get royalties), I'd call this one out as being notably not useful with the DFRPG box set. The GURPS Dungeon Fantasy PDF series uses armor weights and costs derived from the Basic Set. The DFRPG, however, uses armor weights and costs derived from GURPS Low Tech, so they differ significantly.
Given the options you're looking at, I'd suggest Wilderness Adventures, with Henchmen as a second choice.

Three cheers for this!
For whatever my opinion may be worth, I second this, though I would perhaps reverse the order - I've just got so much use out of Henchmen. It's basic and seemingly unexciting in principle - just a collection of templates, really - but in practice, in prep or at the table, I find it just really, really handy to have around. Wilderness Adventures is excellent, too - and of course it has the virtue of opening up a whole new category of non-dungeon adventures.
