A heavy-duty mining and processing system that can extract ore from rock, or convert ice or rock into a powdered residue suitable for use as mass driver reaction mass. It is rated for the tons/hour of ore it can extract or process.

It makes me wonder--are these different kinds of equipment? Ore grinders versus rock powderers? What about scientific tools for drilling "carefully" into a planet to test for signs of ancient life? Or perhaps an asteroid cutter that produces dinner-plate-sized samples to sell as knicknacks?
