Once again I consult the collective on matters that I have little to no experience with.
I'm trying to design a "vitality pool" for HP for a caster that casts using HP only. But I do not know how to make it work the way I want it to... So. What I want to happen, ideally anyway, is to have a Vitality pool that doesn't refill naturally. The only way to refill it is with a leaching attack. Once a leaching attack succeeds and it fills the pool, than that can be used as a "mana bar" so to speak. Then at the end of combat or some 10 minutes or so whichever comes first, it will wear off and deplete back to 0. And to add a trick to the mix, I would like to have a way to convert that pool to their actual HP if even at an unfavorable ratio. Buuuuttttt I have no idea on what limitations or modifiers to use to make this possible..... |
