Cole's weapon durability article is out!
I had a chance at a preview on it, and if I was still running CBR, I would instantly bring it into the fold. It's a little heavier on the number cruching, but I found it surprisingly playable and, after you tried your hand at it a little bit, pretty intuitive (especially since players will come to know their own thresholds pretty well). We had two characters that would have particularly liked it: one with an unbreakable sword and epic levels of power-blow, and the other was just really strong anyway, and this would have forced us to give him a heavier sword to compensate, which feels very fitting.
