Munchkin + Marvel!

Character cards are fun. Any chance of getting character cards for straight fantasy Munchkin? I bet I wouldn't be the only one to buy a set.

BLANK character cards would be great, with specific rules for creating yourself. Like, no "+10 to everything" self over empowering going on. Haven't played adventure time so I'm not sure what the buffs are like.

I'm kind of hopeful that this is what the character cards will represent. While they could be you taking on the roll of Agent Colson or Agent May, I really would love them to be "generic" agent types so you can be DS-00-0, FSD, SHIELD counter-intelligence agent or ThisisDog, SHIELD heavy weapon expert.

However, blank cards would make for a great promo card or even a 15 card add-on blister pack. Have all of the relevant game text but no picture so players can have artists draw the image for them, much like the blank, sketch covers we see in the comic industry. How cool would it be to have you favorite artist draw a sketch on your +2 Robotic Arm treasure card??

The more I think about this product, the more potential I can see in it. They published an expansion to AT that introduced Dungeon cards so I could easily see an expansion for this along those same lines (Lairs instead of Dungeons??).

I'd guess it's not explicitly based on one Marvel Universe property like Agents of Shield(though who wouldn't want to have Mike, May, and Daisy on their side.) but probably a mix of the main universe.

I'm guessing Avengers, Inhumans, Shield, AIM, Hydra, Squirrel Girl, Spidey and Foes

From the press release, it looks like the Role cards are going to be SHIELD specific while the heroes are ally cards and the villians are the monsters. As such, I do not see people taking on the role of different Avengers, just SHIELD agents. As such, they can go two ways: generic SHIELD agent descriptors or Named Agents.

I completely agree it could also be any of the more well known comic characters: Dugan, Quartermain, Valentina, etc. Colson and May just popped to mind as I just watched the tv show last night. Most of them are now comic book characters as well so the lines are kind of blurred anyway. :D

Almost sounds like what they did with the Oz set. The characters from the books tended to be monsters and allies.
