While playing Legends tonight another player on the table had a handed item equipped and also had a hireling with a handed item equipped. His claim was that he was entitled to the gladiator combat bonus for using two weapons requiring hands while I disagreed because the hireling was simply using the item on his behalf and he himself was not using the item.
Which interpretation is correct in this situation? |

Items carried by a Hireling count as though you were the one using them. Yes, the Gladiator bonus applies.
