hi guys!
simple question for you guys. here is the event that we are questioning... player A is a cleric and has a curse card (lose level). player A is now playing his/her turn. player casts curse first on something. curse is resolved and is placed into the discard pile.. now since he has not kicked open the door, he /she uses the cleric ressurection to discard one card from the hand and picks up the curse card from the discard pile. the concern is, can this person keep on casting curse first, then ressurect to pick up the curse again using ressurect? |

Since he's using resurrection to draw the card during his kick open the door phase, the Curse would affect him, as that card is replacing the unknown card he would have gotten by taking a card off the Door deck. So, the the Cleric would lose a Level, the Curse would end up on the discard pile, and then the Cleric can look for trouble or loot the room, neither of which allow for further resurrection.

Thanks!
We've read up on the cleric mechanics. Heres another question: Can the person with the curse card on his hand declare "just before you end your turn..." and cast a curse - meaning on his own turn, he can use resurrect the discarded curse as his kick open the door? |

You can play a Curse at any time, and the rules state that you can deal with the cards in your hand and you have in play before kicking open the door, so you don't have to do anything special to play it before that part of his turn. However, as I said before, resurrecting the Curse while kicking open the door means that the Cleric will be hit with the Curse.
