Curse! Stupid Is As Cupid Does: What does it mean by for the win?
This card says something along the lines "unless you are playing for the win". Can someone explain what this means please.

It means winning the game, as in getting the Winning Level. Obviously, the player who initiated the combat is trying to win the combat, but any time something says "for the win," it means the whole game.
