I must be forgetting something, but it looks like Imbuement talent from PU:1 costs [10]/lvl, but Eldritch Talent for the Mystic Knight lense costs only [5]/lvl, despite also including some magic stuff. What am I missing?

Some rules are different in DF. As for Eldritch Talent, it only applies to your Magical Imbuements; getting Imbue from any other power source will get no benefit from it!

This is explained in PU:1. "This costs 10 point/level instead of the more usual 5 points/level because it modifies all of the power’s abilities and a wide selection of potent skills (every Imbuement Skill)."
Imbuement Talent isn't just for imbuement skills -- it's for an entire power and applies to to all rolls with the power's afflictions, bindings, innate attacks, etc. An imbuement power is much more flexible and potentially powerful (GM permitting) than just learning imbuement skills. Eldritch Talent only applies to imbuement skills and Thaumatology and Magery rolls to detect magic items. |
