one time use cards

can i put down one time use cards ? i mean besides my eqquipment etc, or should i on;y play them directly from my hand ?

Items are Items, even if they are one-shot Items, and any player can carry any Item, which includes one-shot Items. One-shot Items just have the extra benefit of being playable from one's hand. This is mentioned in a couple of places in the rules, but one of the best sentences to confirm the ruling is, "Most [one-shot Items] are used during combat to strengthen the munchkins
or the monsters, and may be played from your hand or from the table."
