Hi !
First of all, I'd like to share that I discovered Munchkins 3 months ago and I love it ! Me and my friends just can't get enough. I currently own the main game + Unnatural Axe and Need for Steed expansions. The last game I played, my friends and I wondered someting about the Hirelings (The need for steed Hirelings, not the original one) : - If a Hireling has a +2 (or +1,+3) bonus, does the bonus count as part of a battle bonus ? (ex : Munchkins level 2 with +6 battle bonus = 8 battle level +2 for the Hireling = 10 battle level total) and if he has a an Item (let's say Chainsaw of Bloody Dismembermen +3) does he now have a battle bonus of +5 ? (+13 total in my previous example) We were confused by the colors of the card. Indeed, all items/weapons who give you battle bonuses (including steeds) have pink sign in the upper right corner of the cards while Hirelings have a green sign...We tought, maybe, the bonus +2 means the Hirelings has 2 arms OR can have 2 items. In the same order of idea, is the Really Impressive Title permanent ? I hope I was clear. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work, Munchkins rocks !!! quick suggestion : how about a Game of Thrones Munchkins ? (Munchkins is coming or A song of Fire and Munchkins or Munchkins in Westeros) Just sayin' Thanks you very much. |

The printed bonus on the Hireling cards is a combat bonus.

This sounds like the French(?) edition, with the different colors on the cards. I feel that's important to note, in case someone gets confused by the OP mentioning it.

French, Spanish, and Portuguese all use the same card layout, which is significantly different from the more usual one.
