My cat likes to hunt and bring in mice (this is going somewhere), and then let them loose so he can hunt them again. I don't like having mice running around the apartment, so I try to catch - and I recently did so. Now, the mouse bit me in the thumb to force me to let it go. In GURPS terms, that would probably be an All-Out-Attack (Strong) because why not? It's not like it has anything to lose.
A mouse does 1d-5 cutting damage (it has very sharp and pointy teeth). Adding in the +2 damage from AoA, that means the mouse can do 3 points of damage (5 points for cutting) - crippling it, possibly permanently. I should be scared as hell of that mouse. A couple of mice could rip me limb from limb in a matter of seconds! Now, the mouse is just an example, but the problem is that when dealing with very small or weak things, the AoA (Strong) just adds too much damage. Or have I made a mistake? If I haven't, I suggest multiplying the bonus given by AoA (Strong) by a factor having to do with size, possibly from the table in LTC3. But before you do that, you should have your adventurers be attacked by suicide mice. Because that is awesome.
