Kneepads Of Allure

Situation One of my opponents shifts Pluto onto me, I have the Kneepads so I force him to help me and we both come up short, I am level one he is level 5. So he asks if I am going to run away then after I say we have no choice He wants to take that I have and since he is a wizard he decides to charm it, then wants to take the treasure, however the kneepads say he gets no treasure, do I get the treasure, and since he already discarded the cards to charm it can he take those card back and roll the dice instead.
