Default Spell 'Iron Arm' as a Power

Hi guys

Could you please help me model a power that works like the Spell "Iron Arm". Since "Iron Arm" does negate all damage from one attack, the way I read it, it seems to be very hard to model as Powers.

Since we are playing a TL10 with very high damaging weapons, I do not think it is feasable to model it with DR... but maybe you can teach me a thing or two about powers.

Cheers

Striker, only to parry with Enhanced parry.

Strikers can be broken. What you would want is either a Melee C Innate Attack or Stretching 1 with the Force Extensions enhancement. Both being limited to Only for Parries would be acceptable.

Thanks for your replies.

Let me take a shot at this:

Affliction (Cosmic: No die roll required, +100%; Melee Attack: Reach C, -30%; Only To Parry, -20%; Power Modifier, -10%) [14]

I've added the Cosmic Enhancement so that you don't have to roll in order to defend.

What do you think?

You normally do have to roll to cast Iron Arm as a Blocking spell...

Aye, you're right. I hoped this would be balanced out by the power modifier which I stole from DF14:5 (Psionics): After every fight in which this power is used, the GM rolls 3d6 in secret. On a 6 or lower, some threat from the Warp appears.

Does the Affliction look legit though?

Cheers

That's not a parry roll though. It's just a spell casting roll.
