Good afternoon everybody.
I wonder... At pag. B27 it is said the price of an item of equipment is doubled for every TL by which its TL exceeds that of the campaign. Is this real on the other side too? So, if I'm playing a TL 10 campaign are prices halved for every TL by which campaign TL exceeds that of the item? Thank you all in advance. |

Generally not. The theory behind 4e's constant $ means that you're paying $50 for a Leather Jacket cat TL2 and the same at TL8. The TL8 person tends to have a lot more $ though.

And gold bullion, an early TL 1 invention, isn't completely worthless these days.

In fact some low tech items get more expensive at tech increases because the skills to create them become rarer.
