My modern fantasy setting, what do you think?

So, I'm getting some ideas about writing up an urban fantasy setting. The most difficult problem is deciding on mechanics to take from GURPS Thaumatology and other books (including Pyramid issues) to support the general setting's flavour and history.

The setting will be named Dreamlands: The Reconstruction Era.

I've got some basic ideas on how the setting is conceptualised, but it would be great to get an outside perspective. Consider it all a Work In Progress, Please Evaluate And Comment Honestly.

One thing thread readers can contribute to; there’s a rogue/Tribal-aligned Dreamlands city named Eden in the Chapter One file, as of this writing, whose entry I have left blank – thread posters can propose details on Eden, create the city and its features. What kind of stuff would you like to see? If you have GURPS City Stats, you can use that book to write a possible entry for Eden, I want to hear whatever cool ideas you have. People without that book can simply describe their concept for Eden.

Anyone with experience with world building feel free to suggest details and information I should change or include to better realise the setting. In particular, I’d like comments on what kind of lifestyles and societies you’d think Wizards have in this setting – some details in later chapters will cover some societies in the faction write-ups. What part of the setting seems unrealistic or hard to understand?
