I was thinking of making Steam group for GURPS players who are also PC gamers. How does that sound?
I was thinking of calling it "GURPS Fan Club" does that sound alright? EDIT: Okay so I made it. Here it is.

Not sure it'd be productive. I mean, there's an IRC channel, and I eventually stopped joining it - things get unfocused without threads. It seems more useful to keep roughly 4-8-person chat groups for well-acquainted groups.

The idea is less to do with getting together to talk about gurps (which we do just fine here) and more to do with providing a way to link up with more people on steam who share a common interest (gurps).

It seems like a fine idea. I'm part of a couple Steam groups, but really haven't participated in anything on them. I would at least join a GURPS group though.

I'm in a bunch of Steam groups, and find Steam far more straightforward than IRC for a variety of reasons.

Oh, my point about IRC wasn't that of straightforwardness, but more about a group lacking threads being somewhat counterproductive and distracting. I'll check how steam groups work if Matthew or you start one.
