I've searched this thread but was still unclear bases on another Thea's regarding the mask of Acheron throwing in an amazon and them restraining order being being played.
So if I use the mask to add a monster to someone's combat then restraining order is then played on me. Does the monster that I added with the mask get returned to the discards and have to leave the combat? If it does have to leave due to the restraining order would I get me discarded card back (the one I used to power the mask)? |

Restraining Order only gives cards back to the player. It removes any continuing effect those cards had (so a Monster Enhancer or One-Shot Item will no longer affect the monsters' combat strength), but it does not reverse any of the things those cards did in the past.
In the case of Mask of Acheron, that means that nothing happens. You can't have played the Mask Of Acheron during another player's combat (it is not a One-Shot Item), so nothing happens to it, and none of its effects are reversed. Neither the card you discarded nor the monster you brought from the discard stack counts as being played by you, so they stay where they are too. This is a case where the player should have used R.O. on you before you used it against him.
