The darkening stops at what it would be the area his heart is at. Then it goes up his neck and stops at the base of his skull. Safe to assume that it has gone into his brain.
The breathing stops. |

That's odd, he never got aggressive... "We might have a problem here!" I stand up and back away from him. "I think he's dead but judging by that-" I point to the bloody mess Trent was just dealing with "-maybe we should be sceptical of that diagnosis." |

Trent says,"Well let's lock the gate. Make sure none of those dead bodies come walking in or anyone else trying to get Cliff's stuff." he tilts his head and looks at Cliff to make sure he isn't going to come back to chew on him. Then he grabs the shotgun Cliff was holding and checks for any spare shells and any keys he may have on him. He then heads for the gate to lock it.
