A group of friends and I played Munchkin Legends along with Munchkin 6 Dungeons expansion.
Player 1 kicks down the door. Its a portal card. We all follow the instructions on the portal card. Before he is able kick down his replacement door card, I play Crystal Ball which allows me to arrange cards in either deck. He calls shenanigans reasoning that because he already started the Kick Down The Door chain of events by drawing the original dungeon card, that the chain of events have to be completed and the order of cards cannot be interfered with. I disagree based on the wording of the Crystal Ball card which says that it may be played at any time. Thoughts on a ruling? |

The 'play at any time text' does not allow you to play a card in the middle of some other action. Have a look at the flowcharts in my signature if you want to see the times that you can and can't play cards. |
