[4e] Quick Starship Design Question

It was kind of unclear to me. Do you round all calculations, or do you take them as-is? Do you round them all to two significant figures? How precise do you need to be?

i.e. 400 dton hull with wedge shape and airframe

17 base area * (2.5+0.3) = 47.6

Do you write down 47.6 and use that in future calculations, or round it to 48?

Initially, it seems that this isn't a big deal, but so many other calculations are based on it, I suspect you can get fairly different results based on whether or not you round.
