Gnome Monster Ability

The illusory Monster remains until such time as you take on an actual helper, since the illusion ability can only be used if you don't have a helper. You do not have to remain a Gnome to keep the illusion, so intentionally discarding your race or losing it some other way won't make the illusion go away.
