Two questions regarding the Basket of Ferns.

if you are winning you cannot ask for help if you are winning even though you must have a helper to win. Would this be a correct inerpratation of this card.

If the FEMA Trailer is added to the fern you would lose unless you can remove one from the battle?

It seems the basket of ferns is almost a guaranteed loss everytime without the assistance of monsters enhancers.

No. You cannot win unless you ask for help, therefore you may ask for help, because you are not winning. The hitch, of course, is that it's only worth one Treasure, so the amount of bribery you can offer is limited.
