Here's a pair of templates I cooked up earlier tonight for the Jedi during the time when the Sith Empire was a clear threat, around 3700 BBY (or the time of the MMO "The Old Republic"). Note that these templates are intended for a 400+ point game, but I think they catch the flavor of the two quite nicely.
First, I give you the Jedi Guardian 300 points The Jedi Guardian is a master of lightsaber combat. The higher mysteries of the Force don't concern him so much as perfecting their art and defending others. Many turn their attention to military matters, accepting officer positions within the Republic Army. Guardians traditionally wield a lightsaber with a blue blade. Note that the template below lacks the inclusion of Force powers. Many Guardians develop their telekinetic and/or energy control powers to assist in combat. Perks: Style Familiarity (pick two) [2]; TK Tether (Lightsaber) [1]; Weapon Bond (Lightsaber) [1]. Disadvantages: Code of Honor (Jedi Code) [-15]; Duty (Jedi Order) (15 or less) [-15]. Also select -30 worth of points from the following: Callous [-5], Charitable [-15*], Fanaticism [-15], Guilt Complex [-5], Hidebound [-5], Honesty [-10*], Impulsiveness [-10*], Loner [-5*], On the Edge [-15*], Overconfidence [-5*], Pacifism (up to Self-Defense Only) [-5 to -15], Selfless [-5*], Sense of Duty [-2 to -20], Stubbornness [-5], Truthfulness [-5*]. May also have one or more of the following: Blindness, Deafness, Hard of Hearing, Lame (Missing Legs or Legless), No Fine Manipulators, One Arm, One Eye, One Hand, or Quadriplegic, all with (Mitigator: Cybernetics, -70%). Lightsaber Styles: Makashi, Soresu, Ataru, Djem So, Juyo, or Jar'Kai. Primary Skills: Force Sword (A) DX+2 [8] - 14; Judo (H) DX+0 [4] - 12; Karate (H) DX+0 [4] - 12; Parry Missile Weapons (H) DX+2 [12] - 14; Tactics (H) IQ+2 [4] - 12†.
