Spraying fire against a single opponent

Rules about spraying fire refer to "targets". Rules-wise can targets be parts of a single object? For example, against a human opponent, someone firing with RoF 15 could designate right arm, torso and left leg. Then attack against right arm would be RoF 5 rcl 2, attack against torso RoF 5 rcl 3, and attack against left leg Rof 5 rcl 4. So what do you think about it?
