WOW. I just discovered that I could have gotten enough Modular Abilities (Cosmic Power, Psi Only -20%) to fit any individual ability I have, for about the same point cost as I spent in psi abilities.

O_o

(Being a psionic god doesn't really fit the character concept, but damn.)

Can't you use multiple abilities at the same time? If you had modular abilities that wouldn't be the case. Avatar for example is passive.

Cosmic Modular Abilities are just a point pool. They can be configured into any number of abilities with a total point cost within the budget.

That configuration WOULD prevent him from using two very expensive abilities, but it would allow for literally every psionic ability in the book at some level (I'm pretty sure).

That would allow Psychic Healing, Astral Travelling, Ergokinesis, more Psychokinesis, more Teleportation abilities... And so on.

Eh, there are reasons to do it both ways. When you have a lot of abilities that can't all be used at the same time you should start looking at modulars. Regardless, the real way to get out of hand with modular abilities is by having lasting effects. Hit rocks with strange triggers on delay and use them like grenades. (Or make potions or the like...) Grant advantages. Heal people up. Snatch cool toys for permanent.

I have a Matter Projector, you have Teleportation, Feebs has wishes, Phoenix has magic, and Pox has Warp. For the most part, the answer is "Whatever city we want."

I think the range on Eidolon's teleport was 500 yards or so, though. He has to make lots of hops.

As in long long does he have to wait before going back to the world of the living?

Dead and already recovered from it, so you can use Jumper immediately.
