First of all... Sorry for all of the questions lately...
Greater Transform Body[8]; Altered Traits: 36 [36] (Body of Air); Duration: 10 minutes [1]; Cost: 135 That's my write up for a "Body of Air" type spell. That alone seems crazy expensive! Then you see "Body of Wind"... Greater Transform Body[8]; Altered Traits: 176 [176]; Duration: 10 minutes [1]; Cost: 555 Bam! I don't even think that some of us master wizards out there could ever feasibly/reasonably reach this level of energy cost... Is it a "deal with it" kind of thing, or is there something I might be overlooking? It's obviously a greater effect because it is a complete transformation. Maybe I could give Meta-Traits and Templates a *1/2 modifier because they're set in stone (har har body of stone joke)? I just wanted to get the opinions of others because I know that Ritual Path Magic is gaining popularity around here, and someone must have ran into this before! I'm all up for house rules, but this is driving me crazy because these babies are some of my favorite spells! |
