Trading one shot items

I know you can trade items that are face up on the table with other players. Whether they are equipped or just turned sideways. Now I'm wondering, can i play a one shot item like Loaded Dice face up and sideways on the table. Then trade it with another player who then keeps it sideways and face up on the table until they decide to use it. Or can you not trade one shot items at all?

Yes, you can trade one-shot Items with other players. You don't have to turn one-shot Items sideways either.
